MARIE B. SPONENBERG Age 88, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 in Atlantis, FL. Mrs. Sponenberg was an area resident since 1969 coming from Dumont, N.J. She was the former activities director of Emory Center and activities director at Cresthaven East. She was a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Marie was predeceased in death by her husband, George V. Sponenberg; daughter, Marilynn Woodruff; 2 brothers, John and Daniel Buleza; 2 grandchildren, Debra Ann and Thomas G. Woodruff. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carol Ann Sponenberg of West Palm Beach and Georjean Walz of Newton, N.J.; sister, Ann Ferguson of Palm Coast, FL; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be offered at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 30th with Reverend Gavin Badway officiant.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
