AYERS Charles (Chuck) Brackett Ayers II AYERS Charles (Chuck) Brackett Ayers II, 75, of Lake Worth passed away peacefully in his home October 27, 2008 with his dear friend, Amy Rice, by his side. Born January 22, 1933 in Jamestown, New York, and a long-time resident of West Palm Beach, Chuck was the son of Brackett and Mary Pollock Ayers. Chuck received his Bachelor’s Degree in business from The University of Miami and enjoyed a long career with Allstate. Chuck’s greatest joy was to bring love and happiness to others. Whether he was simply holding the door for a stranger, sharing his leftovers with his pets, cracking jokes at the doctor’s office, or sharing in someone’s personal challenges, Chuck always made time to honor and appreciate life’s joys. Chuck was active in the Easy Does It Club in West Palm Beach where he inspired many people with his experience, strength, and hope. Chuck also loved to be outdoors and was an avid surfer. Chuck’s sweetest memories were surfing with his children, Charlie and Randy. Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Charlie and Randy and grandchildren Chad, Leslie, Melanie, RJ, and Nikki and his best friend Amy Rice. A small service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 1 at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Afterwards, friends are invited to share stories that celebrate Chuck’s life at 1:30 p.m. at Easy Does It Club, 2677 Forest Hill Blvd. #108 in West Palm Beach.
