Willis L. "Bill" Earle

Willis L. Earle “Bill” Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Willis Earle, 80, of Indiantown, FL and formerly of West Palm Beach, FL passed away with his family by his side on October 8, 2009 and is now at peace in heaven. Willis leaves behind a lasting legacy to his family and friends as a brilliant teacher and coach. His 1962 state championship team in Escanaba, Michigan remains the school’s only state title. After moving to Florida he was a passionate and tireless volunteer with the Palm Beach County Youth football league where he positively influenced countless young lives as a coach and mentor. Willis was an avid fisherman and enjoyed countless tournament wins with his sons. He also took up sky diving in his 70’s and many of his children have treasured memories of floating through the clouds with him. He was loved and treasured by his family and friends and his larger than life personality and uncanny sense of humor will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 53 years, Nancy Earle, as well as his daughters, Susan (Joe) Aiello of Staten Island, NY and Kelly Earle of West Palm Beach, FL; his sons, Jerry Earle of Jacksonville, FL, Mike (Lana) Earle and Jeff (Jodi) Earle of West Palm Beach, FL; his grandchildren Ryan Earle, Shannon Maxey, Amy Earle and Hunter Earle; and his sister, Georgia Hall of Grayling, MI. He was preceded in death by his sons Peter Earle and Jimmy Earle. Friends will be received at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 2pm to 4pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 11am.
