Nathan Fein, formerly of Albany, NY, died peacefully November 11with the same endearing love for life and family that he enjoyed for 79 years. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 56 years, Claire, and two daughters, Ruth Fein Wallens of Saratoga Springs and Gayle Petrillo of Tucson; two grandsons, Zachary and Max Wallens of Delmar; a granddaughter, Lisa Mirable of Loudonville; and two great grandchildren. Mr. Fein also leaves two sisters, Rose Foote of Schenectady and Irma Blauner of Woodmere, NY, and a brother Solomon of Southbury, CT. He is predeceased by two brothers, Bernard and Morris. Originally from New York City, Mr. Fein was born February 7, 1929. He moved to Albany as a teenager and became a skilled tradesman in upholstery and custom slipcovers. For more than 25 years he was a respected salesman at Spector's clothing store. An avid tennis player, Mr. Fein was a former member of the National Guard, an active member of Congregation Beth Emeth and the Knights of Pythians before moving to Lake Worth, Florida in 1997.
