Gerald V. Marlatt

GERALD V. MARLATT Of Royal Palm Beach, Florida died peacefully on February 26, 2009. He was born November 19, 1925 in Gilman, IL. He served in the Navy during World War II. Before moving to Florida he was a Country Club Manager in Highland Park, IL. In 1973 he was National President of CMAA. In 1976-1982 he was associated with the Golf Foundation in Palm Beach Gardens. He retired from Club Managing in 1985 and became involved with his own consulting firm. Gerald is predeceased by his first wife Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Adell, daughters, Sherry Richmond and her husband, Shaun of Frankfort, IL, Patricia Fitzsimmons and her husband, Jay and their children, Patrick, Shawn and Tracy of Bentonville, AR, stepson, Karl Marshall and his wife, Sury and 3 step grandchildren, Curtis Marshall of Kittaning, PA; Renee and Ryan Marshall of West Palm Beach, brother, David of Danville, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Wellington, the Rev. Walter Dockerill celebrant.
