Patrick Joseph Foley

Mr. Patrick J. Foley, age 79, of Atlantis, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 following a brief illness. Mr. Foley was born October 2, 1930 in New York, New York to the late John & Anne (Sheehan) Foley. Mr. Foley was a retired attorney and served in the United States Marine Corps. Patrick was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Order of Malta and Knights of Columbus. Patrick is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years Ann (Tubman) Foley. Mr. Foley is survived by his son, John Foley of Washington, D.C.; daughter, Maura Polichano of West Palm Beach and his granddaughter Nicole Polichano of Atlantis. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Foley will be celebrated 5:30 pm Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, (1000 West Lantana Road) with Father Kevin Nelson as celebrant. Interment will be 10:00 am Monday, October 26, 2009 at the South Florida National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Tillman Funeral Home.
