Walter Olaf Sundberg

Mr. Walter O. Sundberg, 76, of West Palm Beach, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 following a brief illness. Mr. Sundberg was born April 5, 1933 in Flushing, New York and moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1996 from Queens, New York. Mr. Sundberg was a retired mail carrier for the United States Post Office. He also served in the United States Navy. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joan (Malloy) Sundberg; sons, Thomas Haimeck of College Point, NY; Stephen Haimeck of Queens, NY; daughters, Theresa Haimeck and Diane Haimeck both of Queens, NY and Regina Haimeck of Sussex, NJ; sister, Inez Russell of Miami, FL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Private cremation services are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home, West Palm Beach.
