Age 78, of West Palm Beach, passed away in Gainesville, Florida on January 30, 2010. Joline was born on April 4, 1931 in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. She had been a Palm Beach resident since 1961. Joline was a licensed practical nurse at JFK Medical Center for over 25 years. She was a voracious reader, especially of mystery novels. Joline was a long time Miami Dolphins fan. She loved and enjoyed all of her canine companions, most recently her Jack Russell, Daisy. Mrs. Palanko was a devoted wife to William Palanko for 35 years prior to his death in 1987. Joline is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Palanko and Darlene Tucker; grandchildren, Rachel & Kyle Tucker; brother, John (Shirley) Heffling; niece, Laraine (Tom) Floyd and nephew J.D. (Kathleen) Heffling. A funeral mass for Mrs. Palanko will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach with Reverend Ducasse Francois celebrant. Private interment will follow at Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach. Please do not send any flowers as this was Joline and her family’s wishes.
