Ruth C. Robinson

May 30, 1917 — February 7, 2009

Ruth C. Robinson, 91, went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur S. Robinson of 63 years who died March 15, 2005 at age 90. She was the beloved mother of two sons, Gary A. Robinson of Boynton Beach and Brian P. Robinson presently of Lantana. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Diana Robinson Petersen (Keld) of Denver, Colorado, David Robinson (Sonia) of Lakeland, Florida, and Stephen Robinson (Marjorie) of Boynton Beach, and six great grandchildren, Austin and Kendall Petersen, Abigail Robinson, and Cole, Mark, and Alice Robinson of Boynton Beach. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, a devoted Christian to her church and community, Loxahatchee Baptist Church from 1955 to 1980, the Loxahatchee Landowners Association, and the Lantana Baptist Church from 1987 through 2009. She took great pride in the knowledge she was a 13th or 14th generational descendent of President John Quincy Adams and that she had worked in U.S. Army Intelligence at Belle Meade Army Depot in New Jersey during the early and mid 1950’s. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ first, her husband second and her children and grandchildren third. She read her Christian Bible faithfully every day till the day she got sick just prior to her passing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Christian Funeral will be conducted at the Lantana Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 with Pastor Larry Gritton officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lantana Baptist Church Operational Fund. The family will receive relatives and friends 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
