Earl Taylor Scott

CWO Earl Taylor Scott, United States Army, retired, age 88, of Lake Worth passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 following a brief illness. CWO Scott was born January 14, 1921 in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Walter & Anna (Taylor) Scott and he moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1999 from Audubon, Pennsylvania. CWO Scott retired from the United States Army after serving over 26 years. CWO Scott was drafted into the Army during World War II while attending Tuskegee College. CWO Scott is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Shizue (Takahashi) Scott of Lake Worth; daughter, Karen Scott and her husband Michael LaGrasso of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Graveside Services for CWO Scott will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at South Florida National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
