Joseph B. Menard

Age 87, of West Palm Beach, passed away in Lake Worth on March 28th, 2009. Mr. Menard was a West Palm Beach resident since 1987 coming from Middletown, Connecticut. He was a veteran of World War II serving in The US Army. Joseph was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in West Palm Beach as well as a life member of The VFH. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed all sports. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lilly M. Menard; sons, Dennis and Robert Godbout; 5 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and a sister, Marie Ann Fortier. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2nd from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated after the visitation at 10:30 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach with Reverend Gavin Badway officiating. Interment will follow at South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Menard requested donations be made to The Holy Apostles College and Seminary, 33 Prospect Hill Road, Cromwell, CT 06416-2027.
