Dorothy Elizabeth Johnson

Age 92, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Mrs. Johnson was an area resident since 1925, having come from North Carolina. She retired from Fountains Clothing Store in Lake Worth, where she worked in the children’s department. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Worth, where she and her late husband delivered sermon tapes for members of the congregation who could not attend church services. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Allen Johnson, daughter, Gail Shoupe, brother, Frank Krautler,sister, Jeanette Wills, sister-in-law, Ruth Wakefield & brother-in-law, C.W. Johnson. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her daughter, Sharon A. Johnson, granddaughter, Brenda (Gus) Lapovsky, three great-grandchildren, Brandon Lapovsky, Gabriella Lapovsky and Elizabeth Lapovsky, sisters-in-law, Doris Krautler and Juanita Johnson, brothers-in-law, Harold Johnson & Kenneth Wills. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 14, 2010 at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, the Rev. Brent Myers presiding. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Lake Worth. The family will receive relatives and friends after 10 AM Monday at the funeral home.
