Mary Roppolis, 80, of Royal Palm Beach died Saturday, June 12. Known for her devotion to family and friends, Mary was born in Brooklyn, New York. After marrying her husband, George, they moved to Nyack, New York, where Mary continued her career with the telephone company. The moved to Florida in 1974, and Mary retired from the telephone company after 30 years of faithful service. Predeceased by her husband, and her brothers, John and Robert, she is survived by two loving sisters, Janette Wray of Stuart, Florida, and Barbara Magnuson of Mountain Home, Idaho, a sister-in-law, Lorraine Murray of Herkimer, New York, four nieces and six nephews, and numerous grand-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 18 at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, and West Palm Beach, Florida 33415. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the memorial service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach.
