Betty Hurt

Age 76, of Lake Worth, Florida and Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 in Atlantis, Florida. Mrs. Hurt was a member of Sherbrooke Baptist Church, Lake Worth. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Hurt in 1994 and her son, Bobby Hurt in 2000. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her children, Jeffery (Paula) Hurt, Daytona Beach, Melanie (Michael) Savidge, Atlantis, Fred (Kellie) Hurt, Franklin, Tennessee, Mary Leigh Zahn, Wellington, daughter-in-law, Tammie Hurt, Georgetown, Kentucky, 12 Grandchildren, Katherine Hurt, Connor Hurt, Ashley Hurt, Allison Savidge, Taryn Savidge, Rhett Savidge, Madeline Hurt, F.P. Hurt, Benton Hurt, Price Zahn, Paige Zahn and Evan Zahn, great grand daughter, Taylor Hurt. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, (today) March 17, 2010 at Sherbrooke Baptist Church, 8657 Lantana Road, Lake Worth. Dr. Preben Vang will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends after 5:00 PM Wednesday at the Church. Burial will take place at Bent Ridge Cemetery, Meta, Kentucky. Those who wish may send a memorial donation in her name to Sherbrooke Baptist Church. Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach is assisting the family.
