David H. Burton

Mr. Burton, age 88, of Atlantis Florida passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010. He was an area resident since 1978, coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the President and owner of International Metals Company in Tulsa until retiring in 1986. While in Florida, he was an active owner of thoroughbred race horses. He was an avid golfer and loved to fly. Mr. Burton was a member of the Atlantis Golf Club, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. Mr. Burton will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his three sons, Gregory (Rita), Gary and Gerald (Nancy), six grandchildren, Brian, Laurel Ledbetter (Josh), David, Christopher, Jeff and Brett, and two great grandchildren, Kellen and Grace Ledbetter, all of Tulsa Oklahoma. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 13, 2010 at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Visiting hours will be 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the funeral home. Further services and entombment will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the direction of Stanley’s Funeral Home.
