Irene Lafferty Webb, at the age of 81, went home to be with her Savior on May 1, 2009. She resided in Lake Worth, Florida for 55 years, and died peacefully in her sleep in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee where she and her husband of 62 years worked seasonally at Dollywood. She was born April 11, 1928, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to William and Ellen Lafferty. She is survived by her loving husband, James N. Webb, of Lake Worth, FL: three children, son, Randy Webb and his wife, Judy, of The Woodlands, TX, daughter, Pam Parlamento and her husband, Arnie, of Lake Worth, FL, daughter, Sandy Townsend and her husband Terry, of Wellington, FL; eight grandchildren, Randy Webb Jr., and his wife, Vicky, of Highlands Ranch, CO, David Webb, and his wife, Stephanie, of Spring, TX, Christopher Parlamento of West Palm Beach, Fl, Jennifer Townsend, of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Matthew Parlamento, of West Palm Beach, FL, Nicholas Parlamento, of Lake Worth, FL, Jonathan Townsend, of Wellington, FL, Julie Townsend, of Royal Palm Beach, FL; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Michael, and Caitlin Webb, of Highlands Ranch, CO, Cayden Webb of Spring, TX, and Alex Parlamento, of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Ilene Pollis, of Boynton Beach, FL, brother, Bill Lafferty, and his wife, Ann, of Okeechobee, FL; nephew, Joseph Pollis, and his wife Sherry, of Lantana, FL, niece, Judy Pollis-Pait, of Wellington, FL, niece, Kathy, of Okeechobee, FL. The family would like you to know how dearly loved our mom and grandma was. She was the Christian example of a Proverbs 31 woman. She loved all of us with her whole being and we will love her forever. Visitation with the family will be at Tillman Funeral Home, 2710 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL, Wednesday, May 6, 2009, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Wellington, FL, 12700 W. Forest Hill Blvd., Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. and officiated by Rev. Nevi Townsend. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Webb’s six grandsons. Internment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL.
