Dorthea Beatrice Smith

Mrs. Dorthea Beatrice Smith, 82, of West Palm Beach, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at JFK Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Smith was born January 14, 1928 in West Palm Beach to the late George & Edna (Wasner) Sprengel and a life long resident of Palm Beach County. Mrs. Smith retired from Southern Bell. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Gary) Dukes of West Palm Beach and son Roy (JoJo) Perley of Boynton Beach; sister, Lyda Rae "Butch" (Ellis) Garner; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of her Life will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at First Congregational Church of Lake Worth, 1415 North K Street, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to the church would be appreciated. A service of Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
