Richard Wayne Shannon

Mr. Richard W. Shannon, 82, West Palm Beach, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Columbia Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Shannon was born December 15, 1927 in Rock Island, Illinois to the late William R. & Nellie (Twesel) Shannon. Wayne worked as a assemblyman for John Deere Tractor Company and moved to the Wellington area in 1980 from Illinois. Mr. Shannon is predeceased by his wife Norma Shannon. Wayne also served in the United States Army. Mr. Shannon is survived by his brother, Robert Shannon of Clio, Michigan; niece, Christine (Alan) Ottens of Morrison, Illinois; companion, Charlotte LaBerge of West Palm Beach; and also many niece and nephews. Private cremation services are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home, West Palm Beach, Florida.
