Robert T. Roake

Age 87, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. Mr. Roake was an area resident since 1963 coming from Peekskill, New York. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He was an avid fisherman and he was well known for his hand made fishing lures. Mr. Roake will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife of 64 years, Alice (Stewart) Roake, three children, Anita (John) Reudy, Kathy (Bobby) Rudd, Bob Roake, Jr.; four grandchildren, Ralph (Eileen) Russo, Katrinka (Brett) Combs, Matthew Reudy, Joshua Reudy, five great grandchildren, Ashley Russo, Taylor Combs, J.T. Russo, Serina Combs and Olivia Russo. The family will receive guests 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A graveside service with military honors will be held 9:30 AM Thursday, May 21, 2009 at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
