Virginia Scarbeck Jorgensen

Loving mother and wife Mrs. Jorgensen, age 92, of Brooklyn, NY passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida. Mrs. Jorgensen, a paralegal, obtained a MBA at Florida Atlantic University, was a member of The First Congregational Church of Lake Worth, and an Eastern Star. Her husband of 62 years George, and children, Raymond “Sonny” Jorgensen, Shirley Jorgensen Williams, and Steven Jorgensen predeceased her. Her surviving family including two daughters, Nancy Jorgensen Culver, Jeannie Jorgensen and Randy Paulauskas, grandchildren Kevin Williams, Justin Bejin, Amanda Thomason, Olivia Jorgensen, Joshua Culver, Michael and Amanda Jorgensen, great-grandchildren Jayson Bejin and Landen Williams. Doris Mize, and many other extended family and friends will also deeply miss her. The family will receive friends 6:00 –8:00 PM Monday, November 1 at Tillman’s Funeral Home at 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Jason Fairbanks of the First Congregational Church of Lake Worth presiding. A private graveside service will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
