Joan C. Linderson

Mrs. Joan C. Linderson, 79, Lake Worth passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the American-Finnish Nursing Home following a brief illness. Mrs. Linderson was born February 19, 1932 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Charles & Ethel (Winkelmann) Hallier and she moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1950 from New Haven. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church were she was a Shepherd Minister and sang in the Chancel Choir. Mrs. Linderson is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Carl A. Linderson of Lake Worth; daughters, Donna Linderson of Lake Worth; Karen (William) Penney of Vero Beach, Florida and Wendy (Todd) Graff of Ormond Beach, Florida and her 7 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Linderson will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2341 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Interment will be private at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2314 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415 or to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.
