Duane Florian Wachowiak

Duane F. Wachowiak, 72, of Greenacres passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at his home following a brief illness. Duane was born July 23, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Joseph & Alice (Mosiniak) Wachowiak and moved to the Greenacres area in 1968 from Toledo, Ohio. He is predeceased by his brothers, Eugene Wachowiak and David Wachowiak. Duane was a retired data processor for the Pepsi Cola Company with over 25 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church., West Palm Beach. Duane is survived by his loving children, Elaine (Kevin) Connors of Winter Springs, Florida; Marian (Scott) Overmyer of Lake Worth, Florida; Timothy(Edward) Wachowiak of Greenacres, Florida; sister, Juanita Clark of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher Connors; Valerie McGee; Katie Connors ,Kellie-Belle Connors and Samantha Overmyer, great grand daughter, Colleen Serkosky. A Mass of Christian Burial for Duane will be offered 11:00 am Monday, February 7, 2011 at Holy Name Jesus Catholic Church West Palm Beach the Rev. Gavin Badway ,celebrant. Burial with military honors will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana, Florida.. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.
