Alfred Fredrick Hoch

Mr. Alfred Fredrick Hoch, 70, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at his Greenacres home following a brief illness. Alfred was born January 3, 1941 in Bound Brook, New Jersey to the late Fredrick & Rebecca (Loyal) Hoch and he moved to the area in 1968 from New Jersey. He is predeceased by his loving wife Mary E. (Duffy) Hoch. Alfred was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his son, Mark Hoch of Palm Springs, Florida and his beloved companion Barbara Richman of Greenacres, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Hoch will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth with Father Jacob Asiedu-Frempong as celebrant. Interment will follow the mass at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, Florida. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home with a Wake Service at 7:30 pm with Father Clem Hammerschmitt officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33407.
