Raymond F. Carr

Raymond F. Carr, 71, Greenacres, Florida passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at JFK Medical Center following a brief illness. Raymond was born February 9, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Raymond F. & Agnes (Biggs) Carr and moved to the West Palm Beach in 1963. Raymond was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He is predeceased by his John Raines. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Rita (Guarnieri) Carr; sons, Jerry (Barbara) Raines of Royal Palm Beach; Raymond (Barbra) Carr of Greenacres; brother, Robert Carr of Eustis, Florida; 3 grandchildren, Jason Raines, Logan Carr and Amanda Carr. A Mass of Christian Burial for Raymond will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Gavin Badway as celebrant. Interment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery with honors by the Marine Corps at 1:00 pm. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. A Wake Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm with Father Gavin Badway. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415 or Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407. Services are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.
