Dolores Theresa DeCosta

Age 81, formerly of One Mendon Road passed away Sunday in Palms West Hospital, Loxahatchee, FL. She was the wife of the late George DeCosta. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Florence (Beauchamp) Palin. She resided Loxahatchee for the past 6 years previously residing in Cumberland for 45 years and New Bedford, MA. She was a member of the Amalgamated Cotton and Garment Allied Industry Union for 26 years, the Cumberland Housing Authority and the AARP. She is survived by her son, Darin A. DeCosta and his wife Judith S. DeCosta of Loxahatchee, FL., Raymond J. Palin of Cumberland two grandchildren Zachary and Amanda DeCosta and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur J. Palin Her funeral will be held Friday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in St. Patrick Church, Broad Street Cumberland. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
