George B. Scott

George B. Scott, 87, of Gainesville, Georgia, formerly of West Palm Beach passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2011. George was born in Anderson, Indiana on August 26, 1923. George was a retired accountant and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. George was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Norma Jean. His family will lovingly remember him including four children, Anita Fuller of Gainesville, GA., Greg Scott of Clearwater, FL., Steve Scott of Gainesville, GA., and Doug Scott of Orlando, FL. George has four grandchildren, Brian Gazboda and his wife, Kim, Amber Scott, David Scott and his wife, Olivia, and David Thomas Scott. George also has two great granddaughters, Audrey Kate Gazboda and Sloan Scott. A Celebration of Life Service for George will be held 6-8 PM Friday, January 7, 2011 at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, the Rev. Jim Shackelford of Christ Fellowship Church presiding. Entombment will take place at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach.
