Vera B. George

Mrs. Vera B. George, 96, Greenacres, Florida passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at JFK Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born February 22, 1915 in Arnold, Pennsylvania to the late Stanley & Victoria (Glowacka) Balewicz. She retired from the Palm Beach Kennel Club and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She is predeceased by her husband Staff Sgt. Raymond L. George who died in 1966. She is survived by her niece, Cathy Grant of Lake Park, Florida and nephews Charles W. Wood of Seattle, Washington and David D. Wood of Royal Palm Beach, Florida Private cremation services are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Inurnment will be at a later date at The Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
