Caroline "Carole" Wernersback

January 9, 1918 — July 4, 2012

Age 94, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away July 4, 2012. Carole was born in Queens, New York. She lived in Glendale, New York in her early years and moved to West Palm Beach in 1968 from Queens Village, New York. She was a long time parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, West Palm Beach where she served as a greeter and festival worker. She was a member of CCW in its early years and was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court # 2389. She was also a long time member of the Crosley Womens Club in Cresthaven. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Mary (Conway) Kossmann, sisters, Frances Otter and Mae Weigold, brothers Jacob and Joseph Kossmann. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her children, Barbara (Joseph) Montrowl of West Palm Beach and William (Mary) Wernersback of Hollywood, five grandchildren, Christopher (Sheryl) Montrowl of Gainesville, Andrew (Stephanie) Wernersback of Port Charlotte, Donna (Mark) Montgomery of Hollywood, Michael (Alyssa) Wernersback of Bay St. Louis, Missippi, and Steve (Ashlea) Montrowl of Clermont, six great-grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Powell of Gainesville, Melissa Montrowl of Gainesville, Ryan Montgomery of Hollywood, Lindsay Montgomery of Hollywood, Brady Montrowl of Clermont and Dylan Montrowl of Clermont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 AM Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, West Palm Beach, the Rev. Gavin J. Badway celebrant. Burial will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach. The family will receive guests 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday (today) at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Special thanks to the staff of Bethesda Wound Care, staff of Arbor Oaks, Lois Mahoney for her love and care and special friends Dorothy Schwebke and Margaret Marte. We love you Mom and you will be in our hearts forever. Barbara and Bill.
