Helen Patricia "Pat" Roemer

Mrs. Helen Patricia "MeMe" Roemer, 87, West Palm Beach, Florida passed away Thursday September 1, 2011 following a brief illness. She was born January 18, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late James & Mary (Dugan) Roemer and she moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1957 from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a founding member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Alfred "Bill" Roemer of West Palm Beach; son, Bill (Nancy) Roemer of Palm Beach Gardens; daughter, Joyce (James) Tippett of Palm Beach Gardens; grandchildren, Sean Roemer, Jessica Roemer Meaghan Roemer and Sianna Tippett; great-grandchildren, Hannah Roemer and Kaitlyn Roemer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 am Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 345 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach with Father Gavin Badway as celebrant. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday 9:00 - 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass at 12:45 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
