Joan Slaughenhaupt

Age 84, of West Palm Beach, passed away at home on October 8, 2012. Mrs. Slaughenhaupt was born in Kearny, New Jersey on June 15, 1928. She was predeceased by her husband, James F. Slaughenhaupt on February 24, 2011 and son, Thomas J. Slaughhaupt in 2012. Joan is survived by her children, Janet Koons and James F. Slaughenhaupt, III; grandchildren, Michael D. Koons, Erin M. Koons-Schiff, James J. Slaughenhaupt, Brooke M. Slaughenhaupt, Noah Slaughenhaupt and Douglas Slaughenhaupt; great- grandchildren, Hayley B. Koons, Hannah B. Koons, Sydney E. Schiff, Andrew E. Schiff and Drake Slaughenhaupt. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow services at Memory Gardens Memorial park in Lake Worth.
