Sophia Agnes Hamann

Age 94, formerly of West Palm Beach, passed away in Sanford, Florida on November 5, 2012 after a short illness. Born in Greenwich, CT on June 8, 1918, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary R. Krull. A graduate of Merrill’s Business School, she was employed by Greenwich Trust Co., Famous Artist’s School in Westport, CT and retired from L.M. Ericsson in Greenwich, CT. Sophia is survived by her loving son, Edward (Debbie) Hamann of Sanford, FL; grandsons, Edward and Eric; sisters, Ann K. Gregory of New London, NH and Marie A. Krull of West Palm Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph and sisters, Helen K. Kirby and Lee K. Krull. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Lake Worth with Rev. David Downey celebrant. Entombment will follow at Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church.
