Walter Edward Delp

Walter Edward Delp, 67, of West Palm Beach, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 in his home. Walt was born to Edward and Catherine Delp on December 19, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings; Norman, Cass, and Francis. Walt is survived by his longtime girlfriend; Lynne Skinner, three daughters; Kimberly Collins, April Velez, her husband John, and Michelle Delp, four grandchildren; Kerri Ware, her husband Brian, Nicholas Collins, Katelynn Velez, and X-Zavier Velez, one great-grandchild; Jeremy Smith, brother; Frank Delp, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was an avid bowler for over 25 years of his life. Walt loved animals and never met one who didn’t love him back. He enjoyed exploring nature and landmarks while traveling with his family. Walt was a prankster and story-teller, most of all he loved being with his family, especially during the holidays. Walt was very generous with his family and friends and he made a huge impact on everyone that he came in contact with. A Celebration of his Life will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Verdes Bowling Alley, 2500 N. Florida Mango Road, West Palm Beach. Our family would like to give a special thanks to his Verdes family for making his time there so memorable. He loved each and every one of you and we will always be grateful for his extended family.
