Fannie Perrella, loving wife and mother, died peacefully on Sunday at 97 years old. She lived a long and wonderful life. She was a woman before her time, juggling with ease, a home, family and her own business. She owned Berkeley Specialty Shop on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park, N.J. until 1969. In 1970 opened Sunset Youth Center, Inc. in Wanamassa,N.J. She was married to the love of her life, Edward (Eddie) Perrella, for 49 years until his passing May 1, 1994. She was born and raised in Bradley Beach, N.J. and after marrying Eddie, lived in Interlaken and Allenhurst, N.J. In 1984 they retired in Wellington, FL. She is survived by her daughter Jeannie and her son-in-law Ed Carelli, her son Edward and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. A Memorial Mass will be said in honor of her life at St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, FL on Friday, Dec. 7 at 10:00 AM. A commencement Military ceremony will be held for Eddie and Fannie at the National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fl. at a later date.
