Amy Nanayakkara

Age 78, passed away peacefully in Florida, U.S.A. on the 26th October 2012, after a long illness bravely borne. Loved daughter of the late A.C.W. and Enid Jayewardene of Madampe,N.W.P, Sri Lanka, beloved wife of the late Albert Nanayakkara of Florida, USA, dearly loved sister of Denia, Belle , Celia, Zena and the late Joy and Happy . Sister-in-law of Chandra Gunasekera, Tassie Seneviratne, Sue and Samare Edirisingha and the late Lloyd Wijewardene and Leela Jayewardene (all of Sri Lanka); treasured aunt of Dr. Dilip & Sharon Abayasekara and family, Pennsylvania, USA, and of Drs. Ranmali and Ajit Ponnambalam and family, of New Jersey, USA. Cremation was held at Tillman Funeral Home. A memorial service for her remarkable life will be held at a later date to be announced to her family and friends. Tillman Funeral Home has set up an electronic guest book which Amy's friends and relatives around the world may access online to write a message of condolence and remembrance and gratitude.
