Daisy Mae Jones

Mrs. Daisy Mae Jones was one of 13 children born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Murray, on January 15, 1911 in Wateree, South Carolina. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a long time member of Walker Memorial Baptist Church in Bronx, New York. Daisy resided in Bronx, New York for over 60 years. She was married to the late Nathaniel Jones. She graduated from cosmetology school in 1947 and became a hairdresser and owned her own salon for many years. She moved to the West Palm Beach, Florida area in 2007. Our beloved Daisy was at her grandaughters residence when the Lord saw fit to call her home on Friday, November 25, 2011. She is predeceased by her parents and her numerous siblings. Left to celebrate her life are her loving daughter, Etta Mae Tillman, four loving grandchildren; Cheryl, Deborah, Ishmael and Henry; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 11 AM-12 Noon Friday, December 2, 2011 at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A graveside service will follow 1:00 PM at Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana, the Rev. Albert Bush presiding.
