Karen E. Brandenstein

Mrs. Karen E. Brandenstein, 83, Royal Palm Beach, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. She was born October 13, 1928 in Queens, New York to the late August & Elsie (Weickert) Jonsson. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, Royal Palm Beach. She is predeceased by her loving husband Willian Brandenstein and her son Glenn Brandenstein. Mrs. Brandenstein is survied by her loving children, William (Rosemary) Brandenstein Jr. of Lantana, Florida; Karen (Charles) DiBella of Afton, Tennessee; Susan (Robert) Setzer of Wellington, Florida; James (Maria) Brandenstein of Atlanta, Georgia and John Brandenstein of Wellington, Florida; brother, Allen Jonsson of Fort Myers, Florida; 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Brandenstein will be offered 10:00 am Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church with Father Harry McAlpine as celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home with a Wake Service at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the children have asked that memorial donations be made to Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 100 Crestwood Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411 in memory of Mrs. Brandenstein.
