Kenneth Ray Forrest, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Ray Forrest, Sr., 87, Lake Worth, Florida passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach following a brief illness. Mr. Forrest was born September 9, 1924 in Bush, Colorado to the late Ray & Edith Elva (Walden) Forrest and moved to the Lake Worth area in 1987 from Michigan. He was a proud United States Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Forrest is survived by his loving sons; Kenneth (Terri) Forrest; Roger (Diane) Forrest and Dale (Athenia) Forrest; 6 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Forrest will be 11:00 am Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in the Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, Taylor, Michigan. Visitation for family a friends will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at West Mound United Methodist Church Cemetery in Taylor, Michigan with full military honors. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407
