John S. Klingsten

Age 47, of Port St. Lucie, Florida died unexpectedly on February 21, 2013. John was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 2, 1965. He became a Florida resident in 2005 coming from Howell, Michigan. John worked as a service technician for MarineMax in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was an avid Disney lover and Mickey Mouse connoisseur. John is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christine M. Klingsten; children, Misty Lynn (Valentin) Medrea, Meaghan Major, Michelle Major and Rebecca Ann Klingsten; grandchildren, Hailey, Joslyn, Collin, Tyler and Malia; brothers, James (Barbara) Klingsten and Robert (Jane) Klingsten; parents, Mary and Bud Klingsten; grandmother, Eleanor Klingsten. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 27th at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A funeral service for John will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 28th at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Anthony Clay officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a college fund for Rebecca Ann Klingsten at Bank of America.
