John T. Dampson

Age 61, of Greenacres, passed away at home on May 31, 2013. John was born in Miami, Florida on October 1, 1951. He was a Vietnam veteran serving with the US Army. John is survived by his wife, Lillian E. Dampson; children, Tawnya Dampson, John T. Dampson, Jr., Donna Ann (Michael) Pittman and David (Diane) Ervin; grandchildren, Michelle (Caleb) Reiser, Joseph (Jessica) Pittman, Scott Ervin, Shawn Ervin and Keagan; great grandson, Gavin Pittman; brothers, Jimmy Dampson and Eddie Morrison; sisters, Patricia (Gene) Brooks, Elaine (Charles) Batchelor and Rhonda (Steve) Martin. A graveside service with military honors will take place at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33467. If attending services at the cemetery, please assemble in Lane #3 by 11:15 AM.
