John W. Skinner, Jr.

Age 87, of Boca Raton, passed away on July 13, 2013. Mr. Skinner was born in Bay Shore, New York on July 13, 1926. He was a veteran of World War II serving in The US Navy. John served with the Bay Shore Fire Department for 63 years where he was a Captain of The Hook and Ladder Company. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara A. Skinner; daughters, Bonnie J. (Bob) Coveney and Diane L. O'Brien; grandchildren, Timothy (Courtney) O'Brien, Julie O'Brien and Colleen O'Brien; sister, Joan (Eugene) Burgess. Private cremation services are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, West Palm Beach, Florida.
