Benjamin J. Filer

Age 88, of Lantana, passed away in Boynton Beach on July 23, 2013. Mr. Filer was born in Vandalia, Illinois on July 18, 1925. He was a veteran of World War II serving with The US Navy. Mr. Filer was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia Filer in 1963 and his wife, Margaret I. Filer in 2011. He is survived by his three sons, Roger, Joseph and Jon Filer and grandson, Kyle Filer. There will be no local services for Mr. Filer in Florida. There will be a graveside service when Mr. Filer is laid to rest in Marion, Indiana at Grant Memorial Park.
