Amelia(Amy)Adamo DeSantis 88yrs of Cresthaven Villas, West Palm Beach Fl formerly of Lawrence Ma. was called home to be with our Lord on Friday November 15th 2013 Amy will be greeted at the gates of heaven by her parents, Anntonetta and Ferdinando Adamo,Sister Angie Rizzo,and Son Dennis DeSantis Amelia was not only an awesome mother but to those who crossed her path and became a friend,she was a kind,caring,compasionate and loyal friend for life. Our mother spent most of her life caring for other peoples loved ones as a Home Health Care Assistant,through those years she not only took care of people who neeeded assistance, she became a friend to her patients as well as there families,we are so grateful to those families because they never thought of our mom as a caregiver, they treated our mom as part of there family,and after there loved ones were called home they always kept mom in there lives,a true testament to what a wonderful person our mom was. Thank You!! When mom was feeling well she was a member of the Young At Hearts Senior Center of Royal Palm Beach and loved going to the Casino's with her friends. She Loved to dance and cook , but most of all Amelia loved spending time with her family and friends. She was also an active Parishoner at Holy Name of Jesus until her failing health kept her from attending Mass Amy's memory will be cherished by her Daughter Dianne Pica(Ron) of Newton,NH,son Russell DeSantis(Miguel Reyes)of WPB, Fl,son Sam DeSantis(Rachel)of Lawrence Ma. Grandson, Scott Anderson(Kim) Granddaughter Rachelle DeSantis(Emilio) and two Sisters, Teresa Skorupka and Jennie Scuncio of Lawrence Ma.as well as many friends who loved her. Our family would like to recognize the PBC Paramedics,as well as the Doctors,Nurses,and CNA's at JFK Memorial Hospital and Hospice of PBC at JFK for taking such good care of our mom in her time of need, as well as on her journey home to the Lord. Thank You !!! Our family would also like to thank Russells Partner, Miguel Reyes for not only his emotional support of Russell during these difficult times but his assistance in caring for our Mom over the last few years. Natilie and Josh Reyes thank you both also for the emotional support you gave to Russell. We Love you All and so did our Mom !! At our moms reguest,a memorial service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
