Dorothy Mae Hughes

Age 82, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away February 7, 2014. Mrs. Hughes will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her husband, Jack L. Hughes, her children, Stephen Lloyd Shirley, Barbara Lynette Shirley, Brenda Sue Kaub, Denise (Dean) Allshouse, Bradley Scott (Michelle) Shirley, her stepchildren, Theodore Tanfield, Jr., Noel Proctor, Ronald (Marilyn) Tanfield, her brothers, Lural Farnell, Daniel Farnell, Vaughn Farnell, her sisters, Genell Robertson, Verna Jean Shearin, Patsy Folsom, Betty Beck, 40 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Clara Marcile Jackson. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Jog Road Baptist Church, 855 Jog Road, West Palm Beach with Pastor Keith Albert officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 AM Tuesday at the church. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Mount Olive Cemetery, Jena, Florida. Memorial gifts may be sent to www.gideons.org
