Mary Ann Ackerman

Age 85 of 2268 Palmetto Road, West Palm Beach, died Saturday Feb.22, 2014. She has been a residence of the area since 1955. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She has been an active member of First Baptist of Lantana since 1970. Survivors include her son, Robert Ackerman Jr., daughter Brenda (Michael) Thibault, granddaughters Teresa (Milton) Mendez and Angela D'Alessandro, great grandchildren Jaden D'Alessandro and Alessandra Mendez, brothers Herschel Johnson of Newnan, GA and Pete (Ann) Johnson of Grantville, GA, sister Betty (Edward) Smith of Columbus, GA, brother -in-law Randall Ackerman of West Palm Beach and sister-in-law Marjorie Crawford of Postma, WA and many nieces and nephews.. Predeceased by her husband Robert Ackerman, parents Henry & Lizzie Johnson of Luthersville, GA, sister Henrietta (Murray) Luthersville, GA, sisters-in-law Florine Johnson Newnan, GA and Shirley Ackerman West Palm Beach and brothers-in-law Volney Ackerman and Arthur Ackerman Meredith, NH Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday Feb. 27, 2014 at First Baptist Lantana with Rev. Larry Gritton officiating. Viewing will be held at the church 9:30 am until time of the service. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to First Baptist of Lantana in memory of Mary Ann Ackerman.
