Reuben Edson Spurr

Age 86, of West Palm Beach, went to heaven on April 5, 2014. He was retired from Halsey & Griffith after 41 years. He honored the Lord every day of his life and bore witness to his faith daily, touching the hearts of all who knew him. He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We love you and miss you and will forever cherish the memories of our time with you, until we all meet again in Heaven. He is survived by his loving wife, Jimmy Lee; son, Timothy; daughters, Dianne and Deborah; grandchildren, Dinah, Joshua, Blake and Alex; great grandchildren, Brody, Ella, Cele, Pierce and Brianna; in-laws, Jennifer and Angie; sister, Pearl. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. Interment with military honors will take place at South Florida National Cemetery following the service.
