Age 67, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away June 27, 2014. Beverly was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania on November 16, 1946. Beverly was a devout Christian woman with a strong faith in God and doing His works wherever He lead her. She was a co-founder and treasurer for Freedom Church of the Palm Beaches. During her life she was a Sunday school teacher, did missionary work and opened her home to weekly bible study.She worked for over 47 years in the nursing industry. Towards the end of her career she was a clinical services consultant. Many other positions over the years she held was as a Director of Nursing of sub-acute care, educational instructor, long term care specialist, certified rehab nurse and wound care specialist.In addition to her ministry and professional works, Beverly had a life long passion for her family, friends, animals, traveling, education and helping others especially children. She possessed an incredible sense of empathy and compassion, always keeping a positive spirit.Beverly graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors of Science and Kent State University with a Masters of Education. Beverly was predeceased by her brother, John A. Ward. She is survived by her husband, Gordon F. Cunningham; children, Catherine E. Richards, Kristie E. Bader and Kevin A. (Laura) Viars; father, William E. Ward; sisters, Victoria L. Diddle and Sherri J. Blaise; stepdaughter-in-law, Rebecca M. (Andrew)Stasko; stepsons-in-law, Gordon A. Cunningham and Karl M. (Shelly) Cunningham; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach with Pastor Joseph Trapani officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
