Barbara J. Catanzaro

March 11, 1961 — July 14, 2014

Barbara Jane Bernat Catanzaro, born March 11, 1961 to the late Leo Bernat and Jane (King) Bernat in Albany, NY, suddenly passed away in her home in Wellington, FL on July 14, 2014 with her sons Zachary Leo Catanzaro of Boca Raton, FL and Brandon Catanzaro of Wellington, FL by her side. Barbara was married to Richard Catanzaro for 28 years who was traveling for work and will forever be saddened for the loss of his best friend, his wife and mother of his two children. Barbara your soul will always be where you wanted and I wish I could have been there for you. Barbara was preceded in passing by her sister Mary Catherine, brothers, Paul Leo and Michael James, she is survived by her sisters; Janice Lee Bernat, Atlanta, Georgia, Joyce Ann Couse (Bill), East Greenbush, New York, Joan Marie Sullivan (Mark), Slingerlands, New York and Margaret Mary Nagy (George), Albany, New York; mother-in-law, Myra (George) Catanzaro. She leaves several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews behind many of whom Barbara had a chance to touch their lives with her love, caring and giving, Barbara worked as a bookkeeper and soul mate to her husband Richard in several businesses starting in 1997. The Catanzaro family worked together all day, every day and bragged to all that knew them that Richard and Barbara were inseparable. She will be sorely missed by her partner for life and her two sons for the support and confidence she gave them each and every day. She will be missed by all that she touched and may her soul be with everyone who knew her.
