Jules Phillip Schultetus was born in Coulterville, IL July 2, 1930 to Velma and Paul Schultetus. Raised on a farm with his 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by 3 sisters- Elsie Williams, Azalea Lumis, and Pauline Shirley. Jules served in US Marine Corp during the Korean War. His family moved to West Palm Beach in 1950 where he became an electrician and met his girl Donna Jean Burdick at a scavenger hunt. As an electrician in Local 323, he helped wire the Palm Beach Mall, the FPL power plant, and countless other buildings in the area. In 1973, he started J & J Campers where he thrived as a small business man, community leader, philanthropist, mentor and boss. He retired to the mountains of North Carolina in 1995 (Cashiers, NC). He was a neighbor that all the mountain folks loved. Being raised on a farm, everywhere he settled, he planted trees and had a garden, spreading the love of gardening. Treva, his dog, accompanied him on his green machine to grade the roads and socialize with his neighbors. He and Donna raised four daughters: Melanie Vincelette (husband - Ray) Dallas, TX; Carol Graham (husband - Bill) Wellington, FL; Susan Hunter (husband - Jesse) Boynton Beach, FL; Peggy Wilson (husband - Bill) Naples, FL. He loved his 8 grandchildren Julie (Brewster), Curt, Shelby and Jack Graham; Connor and Kelsey Vincelette; Sadie and Lily Wilson; and great granddaughter Ella Grace Brewster, with another on the way.
