Frances A. Lauta

Frances A. Lauta, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Born August 3, 1926, in Naples, Italy, to Elvira and Pasquale Ruffo. She met her husband Richard Lauta when he was a GI stationed in Naples, Italy. The two were married in 1946 and returned to Buffalo, NY where they were blessed with seven beautiful children. Frances will be especially remembered for her beautiful strong personality that would shine through anyone that met her. Her perseverance for life was like no other, taking each difficult hurdle with stride. Her life's work was her seven children, 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Her family will live on through her legacy of enjoying life to the fullest. Survivors include her children, Richard, Ronald (Kelly), Roy (Patricia), Elvira, Linda (Steven), Raymond (Laura). Her grandchildren, Frances, Deborah, Robert, Daniel, Jennifer, Kimberly, Nicholas, Maria, Melinda, Mario, Rebecca, Roy Richard, Laura, Anna, Dominic, Jared, Gianna, Matthew and Allison, 15 Great Grandchildren, her brothers Antonio, Enzo and her extended family in Naples, Italy. Frances is predeceased by her husband, Richard, her son Robert (Diana), and her sisters Anna and Maria. Services will be held at 930am, Friday, February 13, at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, 315 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made in her honor to the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County, 810 Datura Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
