Frank W. Battey

Frank W. Battey, age 86, formerly of Westwood, New Jersey and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Palm Beach Beaches surrounded by his loving family on May 1, 2015. Frank was born in Astoria, NY on November 28, 1928. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War serving with The US Navy. Frank is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy T. Battey; children, Pamela (Richard) Feld of Kinnelon, NJ and Kim (Danny) Martin of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; granddaughters, Leah Feld, Kacy Martin and Jaclyn Martin; brother, Wayne (Bonnie) Weismandel of Mount Joy, PA. Frank was the sunshine in everyone's life and brought laughter to everyone he encountered. He will be sorely missed by family, friends, nieces and nephews but we will all rejoice that he is now with the Lord. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A celebration of life service will take place from 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM.
